Biography

Ludvík Barabáš is trying to sell you his latest work most humbly and pleasantly possible.

He was born in Valašské Meziříčí, growing up all around, successfully sleeping through lectures during his high school days in the Grammar school of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. He studied law degree in Olomouc and now is finishing the same degree in Brno. He works as a translator, legal assistant, and researcher and sometimes as an assisting chef.

Ludvík has a passion for writing. However, it was only recently he quit writing just for himself and decided to put his work out there. And why would he not go straight for a book, right? That's him - once he stubbornly sets his mind on something, he charges head-on with only his heart at stake. And that's exactly like his poetry and writing - mostly heart, but always enough stubbornness and courage to ram his head against the wall if he has to. Even if he can‘t. Even if he should not push that hard.

"As long as you don't stop trying, you might punch through that wall one day."

Selected Reviews

The poems and essays create a very beautiful result, I like it, but it’s really important to uncover the hidden meaning and the catharsis of the poems. Then it is definitely worth reading it!
